June 9, 2001: The Beginning
Kentuckiana Pro Wrestling officially kicked off on June 9, 2001. The first show held at T&T Services in Brandenburg drew a crowd of 85 people, but that would change quickly. Word of the great wrestling action spread like wildfire. Soon wreslters from Kentucky, Tennesee, Indiana and Virgina were calling to get on the shows. Former WWF and WCW Superstars have contacted KPW to make personal appearances! The crowds have continued to increase steadily with each show! Not bad for a bunch of hard chargers from North Central Kentucky.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS & THE CEO
The Board of Directors consist of four individuals who wish to remain unknown. They are simply referred to as, "Matt", "Mike", "Crash" and "Abe." The Board sends down it's orders through KPW Chief Executive Officer David Clark. In the event of a tie on any decison made by the Board, CEO Clark has the final vote.
David Clark was chosen as CEO because of his involvement with numerous professional wrestling companies. The Board feels Clark, also known as Raymond Dark III, can be neutral because he was been both loved and hated by the fans. He has managed Federation champions and United States title holders and has been a local radio personality in Brandenburg for eight years. Clark was the creator of the World Wrestling Federation Adventure Game Series, rated the third most popular RPG in the US in March of 1994 and has written for numerous magazines including WWF Magazine.
